"I chose to do "The Gnome and the baby" as a graduation project because I was fascinated by the idea of establishing a very self-confident character and then push him down a helicline. To follow him on his way down towards a world that spins him out of control ...

The story needed a special setup of strong atmospheric elements to work well. We put at lot of work in the soundtrack and made accurate plans for the use of colour."

"The Gnome and the Baby" was accepted at the Odense Filmfestival Denmark 2004, Los Angeles Shorts 2004 and Festival del Corto, Brazil 2005.

Kretschmers wife is devastated by the news and tries to contact her husband ...
   

 
Kretschemr is also shocket but not really in the mood for discussing the new perspectives. Besides his clients are waiting!
   
   

Not knowing what awaits him on the way home, Kretschmer finishes his meeting ...
